"The Pitch Hitters" sang for the first time on June 21, 2008. This a-cappella men's group was organized to sing for the opening of the 'Shoeless' Joe Jackson Museum and Library in Greenville South Carolina.
The Pitch Hitters men's chorus includes mechanics, teachers, students, and businessmen. While all of these men are involved with their church music programs, some of the men also direct, arrange or compose music.
